With a 20k CAS scholarship… didn’t know they offered those?

Got into CAS with 20k Lewis Rudin City Scholarship. Never heard of it, wooh!!

Congratulations for all those receiving good news today! And early!

lorrainedelis, Sorry to hear you did not get in. You have such a social spirit, I think it is NYU’s loss. :frowning: I wish you well wherever you go! You have had a very positive spirit towards other posters here for the past weeks/ months? You will bring that wonderful spirit to wherever you go!

crook15, I mentioned in a previous post that RD students accepted by NYU still have a chance to get good “grants” or in your case, a school specific scholarship. The point was that even those who did not get named officially as “scholars” can still get a significant amount of money that does not have to be re-paid.

Congrats all! I just checked my email and unfortunately I wasn’t accepted. =D Cheers to all of those accepted! I’m so proud of you all.

Got into CAS with a $17400 CAS scholarship and a $3000 work study offer and a bunch of loans. Still waaaaay too expensive, but it’s cool to be accepted!

i also just got in!!! after a recent waitlist and rejection, it sure feels good  congratulations to everyone else!

rejected. so disappointed :frowning: but congrats!

I was waitlisted!

Accepted! CAS
From Florida

Accepted to Global Liberal Studies! Very excited!

Accepted to CAS!

But, my financial aid is terrible. I really don’t think NYU is likely for me; I’ll have to wait and see though.

Rejected. I’m handling it a lot better than I thought I would, I think the last week I spent convincing myself I was going to be rejected helped haha. I guess I really didn’t want to go to NYU (lack of parties, spending so much on tuition that I wouldn’t get to really enjoy the city, and I don’t fit in with the stereotypes I’ve been hearing about), but rather I wanted to like in NYC, that’s what i’m most upset about is not getting to live there next year, but oh well.
Ohio State here I come!

How sly of NYU to send the decisions out a week early.

Congrats to everyone else!
