Post your stats and your scholarship money! :)

Do you know if the admitted students tab on my web central account means I was accepted?

I have no idea. I received my acceptance in the mail…

My son was accepted into the honors college with Chancellor scholarship of $19,000. He will most likely not attend. He has full tuition offers at three other schools.

Did you all do the amm

Hyde interview?

I did, but it was over the phone because I was out of town when they came to my city.

Congrats to everyone who was accepted! I applied for regular decision, so I’m still waiting for my decision. For anyone who did the interview, what was it like, and what types of questions did they ask?

My son applied Early Action and was accepted. He did the interview at DU in November. He said it was quick (15 mins) with two student interviewers. The interviews were scheduled back-to-back, so there were multiple rooms being used in the School of Business for the interviews and multiple teams of people doing the interviewing. One question they asked him was what disagreements has he had with his parents and how did he handle it? They also asked him to describe any adversity he’s experienced in his life so far. Both questions surprised him a little, but he had good answers for both. The students were very nice, welcoming, as was the greeter student he spoke with while waiting to be interviewed. Hope this helps.

So happy for all of you! My son had a great 4 years at DU, and he and all of his friends are doing wonderful things now.

I did the interview in Columbus OH. It was fun. It was held at a hotel and there were several faculty/administration interviewers and lots of interviewees. I spoke with the chair of a dept (not one I was interested in). He said they were told nothing about the students, so you had to take it from there…I was kind of worried that alot of the prospective students were from Cincinnati and they seemed kind of pretentious. I’m from Dayton which is alot more laid back. Anyway I got accepted EA with a 15k scholarship so it must have gone ok.
