Accepted??

<p>Okay so I have yet to get my acceptance info back...just wondering if anyone else has gotten info back and compare your academia to mine.</p>

<p>Let me start off by saying yes i did not take HS seriously at all, I have an 80 GPA w/ 1390 SAT (probably should of studied). However I did the Columbia university HSP, got an A+ and an amazing letter of rec (not a generic bs one many of my peers received) In addition to that I have been trading stocks for 2 years, run several websites and know several programming languages which all was stated in my essay. Just wanna see how I compare</p>

<p>1390/1600? If so no problem, If its /2400 no chance. I applied with an 83 gpa and a 1170/1720-40</p>

<p>My son got his acceptance yesterday from UB with a $3,000 per year for 4 years scholarship
Stats are 95.2 GPA unweighted average from a very tough high school
Ranked number 15 of 361
SATS 1980/2400…1340/1600
Loads of leadership and community service hours
Great essay and excellent recommendations

<p>My son got accepted today and will get $2500 a year for 4 years.</p>

<p>Yes, he applied regular decision to all of his schools. I was hoping for a few more dollars since he was offered quite a bit from other colleges already. But I think that is pretty normal for a state college. I guess we will have to see what the financial aid dept comes back with.</p>
