<p>I just got my acceptance letter from the ILR school today!! How did I find out so early? Is this real life? Let me know if you have heard anything about letting people know early!!

<p>Omg we are the same person! I got into ILR today too and I’m from CT as well! I applied regular decision, did you?</p>
<p>Also, just to let you know, the ILR school is a rolling admissions school so yes, they do send out some regular decisions early. Not everyone hears via snail mail so don’t worry. If you do not get a letter within this week, it does not mean that you have been rejected, it just means they haven’t sent you a letter and you will have to check online on March 29th.</p>
<p>I applied regular decision. I never thought I would get in! I don’t understand the college process at all, as I was deferred ED I from a school considered less ‘prestigious’ than Cornell, but oh well!</p>

<p>I applied engineering, so it looks like I’ll be waiting until the end of the month.</p>

<p>My son just got accepted to ILR today too! He had applied ED and was deferred, so this has truly taken him by surprise as he thought there would be no chance. He has been accepted at all of the other schools where he applied, and they’ve offered him really nice scholarships, so we’ll see what he decides. Congrats realsuperwoman!</p>

<p>That’s the same thing that mine says, so it looks like they won’t be updating the online system until the 29th. </p>

<p>My son just got into ILR as well!! It took us by surprise on this date. He was deferred early. We are all thrilled, especially his sister, who is a sophomore in engineering.</p>

Strangely, although my son is thrilled he seems a bit apprehensive as well. I’d love to know your experience with and thoughts about the university, social life, etc. Thanks!</p>
