Yes, I am out of state, Missouri. I recieved my packet in the mail a few days ago. I applied regular decision at the end of November. I was also named as a Presidential Scholar=$$$!!! Yeah for me! Good luck to everyone else!

University of San Diego is NOT a state school....it is private. Your state of residency doesn't factor into acceptances. They are under no obligation to accept a certain number of students from any state. Our DD got accepted EA there...from CT.

so.............they are now sending out acceptance packets? do they post anything email? whats a better school US SANTA CRUZ or this one? i am in NY and anxoiusly waiting!! I hate this process.

I got an email a few days ago saying congratulations and inviting me to attend an online chat for accepted students or something to that effect. I haven't received an acceptance letter yet though. But I guess I'm in. I'm from Massachusetts.

I've gotten an email about a chat for accepted students...but received no mention of acceptance by email or mail. Weird. Just wish it would come.

Got my acceptance in the mail today :) Now just hoping for money.

Congatulations, now I am really starting to worry, haven't gotten crap form them. Am in NY also..........maybe tomorrow. Do you mind Anoel listing your stats, just curious how they compare against mine. Will you seriously consider going if they give you money?

I just recieved my acceptance today and was named a Trustee Scholar. I'm really torn about where I want to go now that I've recieved that scholarship.

Really good essay

I got the Presidential scholarship as well, 10000/yr. You should get it soon, ive been pretty impatient about it but if you dont soon I'd check to see if there was a problem. I definitely am seriously thinking of going with money but im not getting my hopes up. We'll see what happens.

hi congrats! Your scores were impressive, did you apply to UCLA or Berkely? What was your writing score? I didn't understand when you put 1350 out of 2000, anyway thats awesome. Good luck with your decision.

I didn't since I'm out of state and knew that those schools cost a lot and dont give a lot of money for OOS students. Perhaps in the future though, hoping to become a resident of CA ASAP. My writing score was 650 and the 1350 is my CR and M scores together and 2000 is the total. Thanks though :)

hi am waiting and hoping for an acceptance, did you find out via email or mail? do you mind posting your stats? thanks.

ok need your honest opinion. I emailed the rep for my area for admissions to update him on a few things i have been involved in which i think are significant enough to share and also to be sure nothing was missing from my app. He promptly emailed me back thanking me for the update and said the app. is comlete. Do you think if i was accepted he would have automatically said something to that effect in his email or would that be inappropriate under any circumstance. Iknow i am makign myself nuts but just curious what your gut is on this one. THANKS.

I got the package in the mail today. I got the 15,000/yr scholarship and an application to the honors program. I'm from Massachusetts.
