Son’s friend was deferred to RD.

D’13 applied OCT 25th, her stats are high. 30ACT 4.44 W GPA 3.8 UW. Can’t imagine she did not get in…

Sounds like either “lost in the mail” or it will come. Remember the notofications aren’t supposed to come until mid Jan. They sent some early but that doesn’t mean all have been decided on. These unexpected early notifications create stress for those who don’t receive them, but they are not a sign of whether one will or will not be accepted.

A second of my son’s friends was deferred to RD.

My Daughter was accepted as well. The letter got here monday, 12/10. She applied via Common Ap on 10/3.

D got her acceptance today, she is conflicted because she has spent a few summers at UNC-W and it was her first choice for a long time but now she thinks another school maybe a better fit.

Anyone know when merit aid will come out?

I’m guessing merit aid comes after the Honors College makes their decisions but I don’t know for sure. I do know Honors merit awards are generally higher but they don’t review applications until students are admitted through the general application process.
