congrats! :D

ha i feel like i am the only person going to this school next year based on the amount of ppl that talk here on CC

Congratulations!!!

youre not the only one....I still have to receive my admission letter, but I'm sure thats where I'm going...as a CREATIVE WRITING MAJOOOOOR!!

congrats on your acceptance.
can anyone give some insight into the business program and also the campus life?
what did you receive for financial aid?
thanks.

yay!!! i was just accepted yesterday!!!

Congratulations to those who have been accepted. My daughter was an EA acceptee last year. Although she ultimately decided to go elsewhere, WAC was high on her list until the end. She loved the Eastern Shore location and the ambience of Chestertown, as well as the students she met.

As a parent, my only negatives were the level of grant/scholarship support (it was never a factor in D's decision) and the unresponsiveness of the Admissions Officer responsible for our part of NYS. On the two occasions I had to contact Admissions on behalf of my daughter my e-mail and telephone calls were not returned. I thought this was strange considering my daughter was awarded the college's top scholarship. Perhaps it was an anomaly and I hope your Washington College experience will be exceptional.

My D was aceepted EA, and received a merit-based scholarship. She's leaning towards a sciences major.

^ @hudsonvalley51

is it the 60,000 one?

I got the 70,000 one. I don't think I'm attending, though.

xSteven ..let WC when you really make a decision..that is $$$ that can go to someone else...Best of Luck with all your college choices!

I'm in the same boat as Steven. I was accepted EA with 80,000, but have since been accepted to schools that are more prestigious and cheaper.
I lived at the school for a few weeks when I was 11, but have very little memory of how much I liked it.
But the money is nothing to ignore.

i got in a while ago for EA and I absoluetly love it there. i got the 60,000 scholarship. I am most likely going there but still waiting to hear from two other schools before I make my final decision. The location is beautiful by the way.

I think I've officially written off the school. It would now cost me less to go to the University of Maryland College Park, and I will be much happier there.
