i didn’t write any of the optional essays or submit a personal statement.

I noticed people received the decision every Friday-Saturday. So basically we should just check every weekend for the decision, no need everyday. Am I correct?

^^ Not necessarily. It varies from year to year. Anecdotally, decisions on a Monday or Friday seem the most common, but checking every day takes about 5 sec. and not checking every day won’t cause your decision to vanish mysteriously while you weren’t looking. Either strategy is fine.

Checking every day is helpful in that when you post your results you can let others know the dates of application and decision. But that’s a completely voluntary action.

Any new CSE acceptance since 11/22 ? Not seen much traffic here on new decisions.

My son was happy to find out he was accepted. He did not get any scholarship or honors info with his acceptance. I believe the material says you find that out by February 1, but not sure if they actually do it sooner. My '20 daughter was admitted to CAS and my recollection was they notified her of scholarship and honors at the time of acceptance but I could be wrong.
