Good luck to all who have been accepted and offered scholarships. My DD (currently a Hendrix freshman) attended the Hays weekend and has maintained many friendships with the other participants she met while there.

I had to laugh when I read this
I had to laugh because my DD talks about the times she has rolled out of bed, brushed her teeth and sauntered across campus in her p.j.'s to eat breakfast. the cafeteria is only opened for breakfast, lunch and dinner at certain times, and believe me, if my DD has to choose between showering and dressing properly for breakfast or actually getting to eat, she's going to choose the latter.

Good luck to all! I look forward to hearing from those who end up going to Hendrix. I can't imagine that you wouldn't just love it!

I just heard about merit aid today. The winter break delayed it a few weeks for me.

Does anyone know how high the Academic Scholarships go? Obviously there's ones like the Hays or other special ones, but just for the general awards.. any clue?

I must say, I'm really impressed with Hendrix! It's great that they got this happy information to you so quickly. So many schools torture prospective students by making them wait forever. Good for you! Congratulations!

I just got a phone call from someone asking about financial aid forms which i'm not even applicable for and he was like btw congratulations on your admissions. I haven't received my letter yet. so I find that a bit weird. like... do they have the right number haha

I'm excited though, I applied to 12 schools and this is my first acceptances - colorado college rejected me : (

hey guys. i got in to hendrix also, just now found this board. Great job to everybody! i got an odyssey scholarship and a merit based that covers about half the costs, but i missed the Hays (31 ACT, so close lol). But I'm also an in-state guy and only live about 2 hours from the school. It's an awesome campus and several of my cousins have gone there and loved it.
