<p>Got my folder in the mail today:-)</p>

<p>Did you apply for anything special or were you plain RD?</p>

<p>I, too, got mine RD, but I live very close to Rochester.</p>

<p>Yeah, I'm plain RD, but I live 90 minutes from campus.</p>

<p>Ah I don't live in the Northeast.. but the Southeast, so my letter will take a while! ahh!</p>

<p>I got accepted too! I just got my letter today in the morning through Fedex. I live overseas, but am a U.S. citizen. </p>

<p>Rochester is definitely one of the schools that I am considering. I also heard that the area is a very nice area to live in!</p>

<p>Oh yeah, I applied through regular decision.</p>

<p>Big envelope? Anything written on the outside?</p>

<p>But I applied RD and I don't live near the campus at all- I live in Ohio, so I wasn't expecting to hear a decision this soon. </p>

<p>I just got accepted RD. Does anyone know if financial aid was supposed to come in the acceptance envelope.</p>

<p>I just got accepted too. I didn't get anything about financial aid either, I suppose that will come later.</p>

<p>I got in today too. I live in NJ (about 5 hours away from Rochester).</p>

<p>It comes in a big white envelope with "Welcome to the University of Rochester" on the outside. Inside, there is a letter, a 20% off card for UofR merchandise, a spring open campus parking pass, an admission reply form, and various info sheets (on spring open campus, what's next, visiting campus, making the transition, curriculum and career exploration, academic opportunities, academic calendar, and department contacts, etc.)</p>

<p>Financial aid and scholarship information are NOT supposed to come in this package. They send it a few weeks later.</p>

<p>Here are my stats:
SATs: 2250
GPA: 3.86 uw (on a 4.0 scale), 4.65w (on a 5.33 scale)
rank: top 5%</p>

<p>Did anyone else get in that lives in the Northwest?</p>

<p>Anyone get notification from New York city? Also, is it possible they're only mailing acceptances? That wouldn't be a good sign for me.</p>
