im in western new york

What was the postmarked date on the envelope?

i can't believe i got in University of Rochester, yay!

sayyar77, are you from New York?

yeah, Brooklyn New York

when did you get your acceptance letter?
and are there more acceptance letters coming out, or is that it?

Thanks sayyar77. That means there's still hope for me in New England.

Chocolateisgood, i received my acceptance letter on March 19th. I am sure more acceptances are being sent. By April first everyone should get a decision.

I made another call today. The last batch of acceptances should be sent out by the end of this week...I suppose that leaves a window for this week, as well as the following week for all us hopefuls.

good luck to you all:))

Accepted today in Vermont!

thanks heavenwood

I'm starting to give up hope, honestly...
I just hope it took that long for them to make their decision due to my school's weird policy of sending mid-year reports in the middle of the fricking February.
Fingers still crossed in NYC :-)

No worries worth2try - you'll probably get it in the next batch.

YEAHH!!! ACCPETED! From New Zealand!!!!!

It was sent via FedEx!!!! But no one was home so they took the package back!

But I rang FedEx and asked who it was from, and they said, "uhh.. from New York.. Uni.. of.. University.. of.. uh.." and I was like impatiently waiting for them to say rochester (thought I was gonna burst!) lol and finally they said rochester and i was like YEAH! THANK YOU!

I asked for it to be re-delivered tomorow morning so I'll have it tomorow morning!

(rochester wouldnt send reject letters by fedex would they..?)

wow, congrats man. New Zealand is so far though, damn.

yeah thats really far. I guess youre one of the last to receive acceptances.

Accepted in NYC! :)

Now I am kind of excited, but money is a MAJOR concern so waiting for FA.

Oh and here are my stats to calm down those who are still waiting

GPA - about 3.7 (92.02)
SAT - 2040 or 1360
ECs - nothing spectacular

what factors do they consider when they give merit aids? Cause my stats are not amazing at all, and i got higher merit aid from rochester than from Syracuse and my in state school.
