SAT II: 720 Bio, 640 math 2
ACT: 32
GPA: 97

Wow, i'm so so so happy!=)

Rejected. Got a thin letter. I live in norcal.

congrats to all who got in, though!

Accepted from SoCal. Now I have to make a difficult decision between Pomona and Swarthmore...

380/5900 would assume that every accepted applicant enrolled (100% yield).

They let in more than the size of the class, because some people are foolish enough to turn down Pomona.

Hey guys! Congratulations to everyone who got in - my best friend (here in Kansas) is still waiting to hear. So when she gets in and school starts, you guys better be nice to her! ;) I'll be all the way in NY without her.

Good luck everyone else!

wowwww ssm07 you got yours in connecticut?! im in maryland and am now very anxious to go tomy da'd sna dheck the mailbox. it better be there 'cause im about to leave for a week

My S was accepted!!!!!!!! We live in south Louisiana and received it regular mail today, thin envelope that was a copy sent to our home. I assume the priority mail envelope will be delivered to him at school on Monday since the letter talked about a packet and forms and financial aid that was not included in our letter.

Oftenigmatik,

Come to Pomona! I applied to Pomona ED and was also considering Swat, but decided on Pomona b/c people there have more fun and live more balanced lives. Both schools are outstanding academically, but there are huge social differences. Swarthmore is very work oriented while Pomona students do a great job of balancing school with fun. College shouldn't just be about studying, you have to let loose and enjoy yourself sometimes too! Plus, you can't beat the weather in Claremont.

nothing in OR today, but i'm anticipating a rejection because a priority envelope shouldn't take more than two days to move up one state. oh well.

i'm out on long island. otherwise known as worst place ever, NY.

Congrats everyone! I am very excited to meet everyone at Pomona this fall! =]

Can anyone tell me when the accepted students days are?

Also, I'd really appreciate it if someone would PM me the average aid pkg.

There are 2 weekends, apr 13-16 and apr 20-23
