<p>hey i got the early notification thing and i live 30 mins from washU. they invited me to the multicultural celebration unfortunately the free airfare is worthless for me</p>
<p>washU is trying to attract top applicants that might choose another school to instead go to washU and thus they hold these weekend trips and provide free airfare, lodging, food, etc.</p>
<p>if you didn't get one, don't worry, it doesn't mean that you will not be admitted</p>
<p>I GOT ACCEPTED TO CORNELL TOO STANMASTER! not duke though (which is where i really want to go), but good luck with all that</p>

<p>does the status on the website say youre admitted too? i havnt gotten one yet, but i live in california and always get evberything a day or two late because they can never find my house. although i am white...this means i prolly wont get one, but i am a homo, so i would think they would try to woo us as well</p>
