<p>I received both the acceptance letter and email today. I applied around Dec 20, as an international student, RD.</p>
<p>Same here I applied as an international student and I got my acceptance letter on 11th of February even though it was dated from the 4th...considering I submitted my application around Dec 28th they must of made their decision just after receiving my mid-term grades around the end of Jan.</p>
<p>oh my gosh i just got a merit scholarship to Syracuse!
although it's not my top choice, i must say i'm really excited!</p>

it's not strictly numbers-based; the initial screening probably is but after that you have to write i think 5 essays, and then about 20 are invited to interview for 10 scholarships. feel free to pm if you have any more questions!</p>
