Accepted!

D is excited to be a Faculty Scholar!

Did you apply early. Also, did you only hear now because of the scholarship or what?

Congrats.

I also received my acceptance letter. I was denied the Trustee but am a Faculty scholar as well. Still waiting to hear how much. Congrats to your daughter!

D applied regular decision but applied for trustee scholarship which is why she received an early response.

Thanks premed 123 and dank08. Congrats to you premed 123 and good luck dank08. I hope you hear soon.

Faculty Scholar award came in yesterdays mail. $15,000 per year! Yay!

Daughter also received the faculty award, not the trustee award. HWS will need to come up with a lot of grant money in the financial aid package to make it work for us, but that would have been true even if she'd gotten the trustee award. She's bummed since it was in her top three. She really loves the school. But we did tell her up front that it was way too expensive, so she's handling it well.

applicantmum77 would you mind posting stats so I can kinda sorta gauge mine? Thanks

I got my letter this week. $15,000 a year in scholarship, $5,000 a year in grants and other stuff totaling $25,000 a year, which is pretty tempting.

Congrads premed 123! Think you will go?

When will everyone else hear from them?

I'm not sure but it's higher on my list now. I think I'm going to go up and visit in April because I've never seen the campus. I hear it's beautiful

It is beautiful. We were there last April. We didn't see many kids because we were on our way to an open house elsewhere. Now I wish we had investigated more closely. Anybody have a sense as to how preppy the kids are? Is there an artsy group as well?
