OMG! I got accepted today. I can't believe it. My SATs scores were average. Must have been my essay that I worked on for so long. I got into the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

Congrats to everyone that got accepted today.

Congrats to all on getting accepted...but i thought they weren't sending out letters until april 1st...i didnt get one, does that mean i didnt get in?

from what i have read from the other threads it sounds like only certain schools started sending out letters this week. also, someone called admissions and they said another batch of letters will be sent out at the end of march. nothing online until march 31. my advice is to not worry yet.

OH MY GOODNESS!! I am so stoked! I got my letter the same day you guys did. I honestly don't understand how it happened. I jumped up and down for 20 minutes straight. I'm still in denial that this is real. I'm fully expecting to wake up from the wonderful dream at some point. Honestly, I went back to my application and looked at my essays and the things I wrote on it just to see what in the world I had sent the admissions people where they decided to let me in. I was like, "What in the world did they see when they looked at my application??" I'm into CALS as an animal science major. FUN STUFF!

LOL! emmalou, maybe I stand a chance then! Waiting for CALs admittance. :)

Congrats to all of you!

I got into the ILR on Wednesday March 5, 2008. It was one of the greatest days of my life.

My stats succintly are:

CR: 760
M: 710
W: 720

SAT II:
LIT: 760
USH: 760
MATH IC: 750
MATH IIC: 680

GPA: 3.98 UW
5.6 W

Congrats. Welcome to the club!

Yea got my letter as well, but we are not allowed to make a decision now right? because I dont want anyone to take my spot

^ Don't worry, Cornell has a spot for you, hence the reason you're not on the waitlist... You're just being paranoid :)
I got my acceptance last week; I suppose I might see some of you guys come Fall.

i wanted to apply to Cornell next year and I was wondering if there was anything besides your SAT's, SAT IIs, GPA's, personal letters, teacher recommendations etc. that helped you guys get in?

did all you guys have exceptional extracurriculars as well?

i am a member of a few clubs and i haved played football, basketball, and track virtually every year, got a 2160 on my SAT I and two 750's on my subject tests?...do you think that would get me in???

oh yea..I am ranked second in my class and I had a 94% avg. in my last year

Has anyone gotten responses from the College of Human Ecology yet?

HumEc comes out on March 31st

HOLY CORNHOLES BATMAN I got in!!!! >:D

Take THAT mother-who-thought-I-could-never-get-into-an-IvyLeague!!!!!

Is the A&S admission decision deadline March 31 as well?

Yes it is.
