Congratulations! Make sure you sign up for orientation as early as possible, so you can get a good schedule. Please let us know your stats (gpa, major, etc..) I still haven't heard anything....

LOL, I'm definitely on the lower end of the gpa spectrum. Classes that I didn't do too well in I thankfully won't have to see ever again >.<. Right now I'm sitting at my very sad 3.19, but that'll make a nice little jump for this last term because I know I'll do well. :-) So, just to show some people who might not have super high stats, depending on what you're shooting for, don't lose hope!!!
Oh yeah, Linguistics major, haha

Well, that makes me feel a little better about my chances at 3.25. Although I am competing with 15 other applicants for 2 open spots. Oh well, I'll just keep checking my status several times a day and hopefully I will finally see a "Congratulations!"

Congrats to you and to everyone else who got in!!!
However, I am about to cry right now. Because I applied for 2009 spring term as well, I didn't get approved.
I am study at the palm beach community college right now, and going to graduate from AA in December.
GPA: 3.7
Transfer GPA: 3.68
Apply Major in UF: Fisher school of Accounting
I really thought I had the chance to be approved, I really want to go UF.
I guess most of Fisher school UF students must have 4.0 GPA, and I definately can not compete with that.......................
BTW, it could be my fault since I waited till August 2008 to apply.

shangs, if you have a 3.7 pre-professional gpa(acct, manag acct, bus. calc, stats, macro/micro, computers), then apply to finance school, as you will 100% get accepted with that, as it is now a certain entrance.

A friend and I are going for next fall, and he is going to get in the finance way, take classes for a semester, and then transfer into the accounting major. It's kind of a cheap loophole, but you gotta do what you gotta do. We already went through all the required people to find out if this will work, and it certainly will.

Oh, and since it starts Fall 09', the deadline to apply is June 1st, like, two months before the semester starts! So this gives you time to get your Pre-Prof GPA straight, and 100% get accepted, even that late in the game.
