I received my acceptance letter today!
and a Presidential scholarship too.
decisions are available online starting Monday.
has anyone else heard back from WPI?

Congrats. I am still waiting. I am hopefull that I will get it by monday as I am only about an hour and a half from WPI

on which website?same with the link when we track documents?
I am an inernational and waiting for the DHL.

Congratulaions, jack!

What did the package look like?

Did the letter state that results would also be available on-line on Monday?

How much was your Presidential Scholarship worth?

it was an 8.5"x11" envelope that said admissions decision notification on the top.
according to this page, it says decision notification date is 12/15 ( Office of Undergraduate Admissions - Admissions Calendar )
looking at the website now i feel like i might have made up the fact that they'll be available online. the only other schools i've heard back from have been via the internet, so i guess i just assumed that the page where you track your app status would be updated. i've gotten my letter and that site hasnt changed so i guess i thought wrong.
the presidential scholarship is 10k/year for 4 years.

Thanks, jack.

Once again, congratulations - especially on the 10K a year!

Good luck, bdog and aussenseiter! It shouldn't be too long now.

Is there ANY chance this same envelope would have anything other than a YES in it? S just got this envelope, but he won't be home until about 7 PM. Curiosity is killing me! (Although tempted, I won't resort to steaming it open.)

There was a parents thread last year, I think, that said putting the envelope into the freezer works better! It does sound like the envelope must be the one used for acceptances. Good luck.
I'm waiting for the mail to be delivered.

Who knew? Trust me I am so very tempted!!!!!!

CBB - I hope it is an acceptance!

If you get a chance, please post tonight and let us know.

Still waiting here in New Jersey. Of course, with the ice storms in New England, who knows where mail could have ended up.

Well, if nothing in New Jersey, then I guess we won't be hearing in Pennsylvania today.

It didn't actually say "YES". it said "Admissions Decision Notification" right at the top of the envelope

OK, we are doing a rousing version of the Happy Dance here! S got in!!!!!!!!

Congratulations! Whoot, whoot!

Congrats, CBB!!

Well, the mail bypassed NJ and made it down to PA today..... and my S got in!!

He is very, very excited. He's already been to the accepted students website and joined the Class of 2013 Facebook group.

Shelley - we expect to hear good news tomorrow!

And congratulations to your S, dadinator! Is he definitely attending?

Our S announced last night, "That's it -- I'm done! (with college applications)" Yes, we knew WPI was his first choice, but H & I are somewhat in a state of disbelief that it could be all over and done this easily! So very different from our D 3 years ago, where we were doing the dreaded vigil by the mailbox in the spring.

And yes, Shelley, we're all sending positive vibes your way!

CBB - I don't know if he is definitely attending.

WPI is very high on his list, but I think we will have to wait and see.....

She got her acceptance letter this morning! Very excited and relieved. It is one of her number one choices but I will encourage her to keep all of her options open.

Yes!!!!!!

Congrats, I'm glad to hear the great news.

Now we all just have to wait to hear about finances.
