D got acceptance letter today; great Christmas Eve present. She and I both like Albany so yay! I guess she's about 3.5 unweighted GPA and 1230 SAT. Good luck to everyone else who applied!

My S was accepted today as well and was quite happy. Any thoughts between choosing New Paltz vs. Albany?

I personally would choose New Paltz over Albany, but I guess it would depend what type of environment you're looking for. I think New Platz has a more creative and off-beat vibe with a liberal atmosphere and possibly attracts kids who think more outside the box. Albany is more of a mainstream environment. My son knows quite a few kids who go to both schools. I don't think you could go wrong with either selection. It would also depend on what major your son is considering and what is important to him in his selection of a school.

Definitely visit both campuses if he hasn't. They're very different.

I got in too:)
congrats!

I got my acceptance letter today, the small envelope spooked me abit haha.
