I may study Finance, so the location is a vital part.
I think the residence policy of USF is rational.
My other choices are located in Washington DC. NYC and Binghamton.
DC is too expensive.
I prepare to have graduate education in the East such as NYC.
And binghamton is not urban.
At the same time, personally, the only disadvantage is the school is not very large.
Umm…maybe plus the rankings are not good enough.

deitycherry, Binghamton is not a very nice campus at all, it is HUGE, though. I live about an hour from there and have many friends that go to school there. It is a pretty high rated SUNY school and is cheap for residents.

Did you get the rankings from US News? My intended major is international studies and spanish. I wonder what USF is rated for those majors.

I have applied and been accepted to a few colleges in NYC, but it’s so close to home.

I compared the rankings not only from usnews, but also from princeton review and some other websites.
here is the rankings website of US NEWS.[Best College Rankings, Best Graduate School Rankings, Best Hospitals, and Best Health Insurance Companies - US News Rankings](http://www.usnews.com/sections/rankings/index.html)
cuz i do not know the category of International studies, you can find it by yourself on these websites.
By the way, i will keep on eyes with the rankings of your majar. I will tell you in time, if i find something.
you do not want to have a college near your home, right?

dietycherry, Thank you so much. Yes, that is correct, I don’t really want colleges in NY. I might consider them, though. I don’t want to be at SUNY New Paltz nor St. John’s University.

deitycherry, I am 18. I will graduate from hs in June. Yes, I need to go to college in the fall. Not sure what else I would do other than travel. Why?

Yes, I need to go to hs now. I am finished with hs in June, only 3 months to go till graduation. Then backpacking in Europe for a month. Then off to college, hopefully, USF, if the price is right.

deitycherry, that would be cool. I will be paying the $ soon to USF, once I figure out all the expenses and if USF gives me a grant to help a little bit. My parents will make me take out some loans, they think that it’s my education and that I should be responsible to pay for some of it. USF is my number one choice and I will do what I can to make it happen.

i got an e-mail and the subject said congratulations. i was surprised that an e-mail straight up said that i had been accepeted, but i got a packet in a mail about 3 weeks after.

Hey do you guys know if USF has a student contract? Like it tells us what GPA we need to maintain, etc so that we’re not rescinded. I’ve been looking for it but can’t find it.

I am interested in Nursing Program at USF. Can any accepted nursing students share SAT score, GPA, APs, SAT II and others? I just want to get some idea how to get in. I am a high school junior. Thanks!
