I was sorry to find on another thread that admittance to the College of Creative Studies may not be known for another 1-2 weeks, and will be advised via snail mail. Really??

In the interim, S can mull over whether to be a Trojan, Bear, Bruin, Triton or Gaucho … while waiting, sigh, on five more schools.

Really think I nailed my essays

Hook: I was recruited by the Men’s Lacrosse Coach at UCSB. Although it’s not a “varsity sport” it’s considered “virtual-varsity” and can give me a bump in admissions. The coach told me last year he got a recruit in from OOS with lower stats last year FWIW.

This is some serious ********. There’s a bunch of you who have the same exact GPA as me (3.4 UW, 3.65 W) and lower SAT scores and you still got in. I had a 2190 SAT score and thought I was in for sure (700 math 2, 670 physics). Not even waitlisted…

^ you can appeal, especially with those SAT scores… maybe they overlooked you bud, plus if a lot of physics majors dont accept admissions room may free up.

im a physics major and im not accepting
