Accepted!

Son accepted. He just happened to check online, so who knows how long ago it was up!

Engineering. Honors College. Accelerated Degree. $13000 Dean’s Scholarship.
cr 720 m 640 w 120
gpa 3.47/4.0 unweighted, heavy honors and ap classes.

Just check online, got accepted to School of Arts & Science and Honors Program with $17500 Merit Scholarship.

Has anyone got AJ Drexel or Presidential Scholarships? Or do they announce them later on?

itsjai - Congratulations! Would you care to post your stats?

My S got accepted about 3 weeks ago with $18,000 Dean’s Scholarship…but since the tuition, room, and board altogether is close to $50K, that still is not nearly enough to even be able to afford it… so while $18K sounded good, it really wasn’t…

I got accepted! I have around a 26 ACT and 3.5 GPA. Where does it say the scholarship info? I can’t seem to find it…

SnLMom - The stats are as follows:
SAT 2270, Sub SAT Physics 800, Math II 800, Chem 780, 6 APs 5’s in 4 of them and 4’s in 2. Top 7-8% of a very rigorous curriculum in a public school

Nice!! You should get more $$! Maybe the AJ Drexel Scholarship will be coming your way.

AJ Drexel should’ve been listed in the online status. I got one for $21,000.

2170 SAT, 4.34 weighted gpa.

My S finally received his acceptance, with honors college and AJ Drexel scholarship for $19,000. He submitted his ACT score of 31, 4.1 weighted GPA.

(Scholarship info is in a separate box in the upper right hand corner.)

I got accepted today. I have a 92 weighted GPA and got 29 on the ACT. I was awarded the Dean’s Scholarship for $18,000

What has the turn-around time been from application date to notification?

My D was accepted Oct 26 about 3 days after her SAT scores were sent. But her application went in at the end of Sept. Don’t fret order of acceptances since they may go by applications to specific colleges. Good luck!

SnLMom, the application finally showed up as complete a week ago, after issues with things going missing over the last 4 weeks. He applied for computer science, if the school makes a difference.

My S was accepted into Computer Science and the Honors College with a $21K AJ Drexel scholarship. 35 ACT. He got his acceptance 2 weeks after submitting his application online via the Common App. (He submitted Nov. 1) The scholarship info was not originally listed in the online acceptance, but showed up in the envelope. Since he is also a National Merit semifinalist, we think the scholarship may be bumped up to full tuition if he is named a finalist.

Mathmomvt - Congrats to ur S!!

Based on our exchange from last February, I believe that I am due the customary 10% finders fee on his scholarship. :)

(I suggested the “Might throw in RIT and Drexel”, with your response following):

I was accepted today with an Honors College offer and a $21,000 AJ Drexel Scholarship!

Thx for the suggestions dadinator. He did also apply to RIT. But he won’t hear from them until spring.

My son just got accepted today, 3.38 GPA, 24 ACT and 1610 on SAT.

I was accepted a few weeks ago, so exciting to have that first one!
BS/MS program in mechanical engineering
Honors college
AJ Drexel for $21,000

Drexel wasn’t my first choice but it keeps looking better as I read more!

Just curious around here, did anyone get the $28,000 AJ Drexel Grant? Because I’m comparing my stats to all the others listed here and I’m not sure I really deserve it. xD

32 ACT, 2120 SAT – CR 670, M 710, W 740
Accepted to BS Software Engineering program / Honors College
Applied through Common App on Nov 7; Acceptance Letter dated Nov 17

Maybe because I’m a girl? I guess that helps.

Anyway, best of luck to all of you! This just shows you that sometimes you can just get really lucky!
