Still nothing in today's mail in Virginia. I thought they were supposed to be mailed last Friday, but apparently not....

so did i :(

According to admissions, they were sent today!

Aren't they supposed to email us as well?

Yeah I applied RD and got an email yesterday and the phone call too as was mentioned above. All they told me is that I was accepted and that the letter would arrive near the end of the week.

This is the first paragraph of the email:
I would like to commend you for your successful application to Trinity College! If you haven’t already, you will soon receive an official letter of acceptance to the Class of 2010 from Larry Dow, Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid. We hope that you and your family will be able to join us on April 10th or 11th during “V.I.P. Days,” a program designed for admitted students and their families. During this time you will learn more about Trinity and the various programs that will be available to you over the next four years.

Do all accepted students recieve emails? Are the emails just for exceptional applicants or URMs or something? Can I assume I'm not in if I haven't gotten an email?

I wondered the same thing. My D received invitations to the Guided Studies and City Programs but has not received an email.

I didn't get an e-mail. Great.

Pretty sure I found out already cause i'm indian(parents from india) and i guess im considered a minority, because in the email they also invited me to a program to learn about the "mutlicultural aspect" of the college. So don't worry too much if you're not "multicultural" and havent gotten an email. They also called me that night and they said they were mailing out letters and notifications the end of this week.

Okay, I can breathe a little easier than.
