My child got in. No money at all. SATs 1420, excellent ECs.

A girl from our school was accepted to Boston College (not a minority by the way) , SAT: 1150, nice ec's, she's really excited

I've gotten into UW Honors, USD, and Brandeis; I'd like to go to BC over all of those, but we'll see how the money thing pans out.

I'm still waiting to hear from Tufts and NYU, realistically. I applied to Columbia and Stanford, too, but have no intention of having a chance of getting in.

Ok, now I remember you from the UW's Honors thread, amanda.

BC was definitely my #1 choice, but it was bumped down a few spots due to lack of financial aid. I'm also considering Wellesley, so we'll see. I have yet to find out if I got into UW Honors. I seriously think it'll take another month until I receive a decision, so I will probably have to make up my mind without knowing if I was accepted.

Good luck with future decisions! If you were to get in to Tufts and/or NYU, which school would you choose to attend, keeping in my mind Boston College? Admissions to Columbia and Stanford are definitely tough, but you never know. You've got great choices anyway so congratulations!

I got in!

1280 SAT
27 ACT
18/335 rank
great EC's

I live in Worcester, MA, about an hour from Boston, four kids at my school got in out of six

accepted carroll school of management honoros program

1550 SAT
800 bio/800 math IIC/ 740 writing
3.953 uwgpa taking full load of weighted classes
great ECs (incl drum major, student council, etc)

But financial aid? i only got like 4k? GEORGETOWN is giving me more. (i guess bc must not have merit awards)

im probably not going though, since i got into gtown and i got a likely from columbia. hopefully i can let someone in off the waitlist =)

oh and can someone give me the URL for admitted students (my dad stole my admissions package and took it to work, idk why)

BOSTON COLLEGE WELCOMES YOU!
i love those words.

Accepted to the School of Nursing! woohoo!!

So excited i can't sit still!

GO EAGLES!

yo anonymous...i'm sure i got wait-listed so you can give your spot to me =]

Rovee - I got accepted to Tufts today, and I'll definitely be attending there. Thank you!

amanda - Congratulations! I got accepted to Wellesley on Wednesday and I'll be going there. They gave me enough money so that it would be cheaper for me to attend Wellesley than UW. I was very grateful for this because it seemed like no school would give me any need-based aid. Have fun in Boston! I'm definitely ready to leave WA, but hopefully I'll be able to survive those East Coast winters.

yea I was accepted last week! I was so surprised they took me since I didn't do exceptionally well on my SATs (1340).

I'm still waiting to hear from two more schools (today I hear). I will make my final decision on attending BC soon.

^^ congrats, how is your gpa and class rank?

This year, my GPA went down since I took 5 APs but for freshman, sophomore, and junior year it was a cum 3.89 unweighted. This year, my cum went down to a like a 3.81.

We don't rank in my school :(
