We are being asked to accept soon a scholarship offer to the second choice school now. The first choice decision is still several month away. What are the repercussions of accepting now and changing our mind later?

We were asked to do,this. My kid politely called the school and asked for an extension until the May 1 matriculation deadline.
You can do the above, or you can accept and later decline. There are no negative repercussions. The school can’t make you attend.
