HI, so I’m going to be majoring in Biomedical sciences at TAMU. I was wondering if I should accept my AP Calc AB credit and does anyone know how many calculus classes are required for Biomedical sciences? Thanks!!
I would look up the degree plan on the Web for the required classes as well as the table that lists the AP test, score, and class credit given. Both are fairly easy to find in a Web search and will give you the most up to date information.
I k is for engineering, they recommend not taking credit for calc ab. The only time they recommend taking any credit for calc is if you got a 5 on calc BBC and then only taking the credit for calc 1.
That is the typical recommendation for engineering. Since this is essentially a pre-vet major only taking phys 201/202, that may not apply.
Wait on AP credit until you go to NSC. AP credit once accepted can NOT be reversed, even if you ‘didn’t know better’.
