I got my letter of appointment about a week ago, and I was anxious to sign it and send it back right away. However, the mother of a current cadet suggested to my mom that I wait to sign it at the appointee orientation. According to her, they do a little ceremony or something, and make it more special than just doing it at home . . . I still think I should do it now and not delay another week, but my mom thinks I should wait. Anyone with experience or advice on this subject?

not really....you walk by a table in Clune and sign your papers there. No ceremony. I sent mine in the day after I got my appointment.

Yeah, that's kind of what I thought. Im going to sign it right now, thnx Hornet!
