Accepting Financial Aidfrom school not sure D is attending?

<p>My daughter will most likely be starting college in January the school she is most likely going attend has sent her a notice she needs to "accept" her financial aid by October 12. (FA is only loans) However, she is also waiting to hear about other acceptances that will not come until November...and one school she is very interested in attending if she gets accepted....it will depend upon her availability to get housing..which can be very tricky.</p>

<p>What are the consequence in "accepting" financial aid form one school but then, not attending? If she gets in, can she still be offered and receive financial aid from the other school if she decides to attend?</p>

<p>She does not want to jeopardize her opportunity at either school...</p>

<p>Loans usually process pretty quickly…not sure why they would need 3 months! The school would just cancel the loans if she didn’t enroll but you should probably email the FA office and let them know she’s still considering their offer and will accept their "aid’ when she makes a decision.</p>
