I'm a sophmore looking at colleges and i presume alot of you either have or had Naviance in Higschool, it tells you all of the accpeting gpa's for a mjority of the nations colleges and universities. It 's very useful but the only problem is that it omitts princeton and stanford and i guessed they're around 4.7's( out of 5.3, weighted). Could any of you clarify because the sat's are all pretty much the same. Yale is a 4.64 and harvard and 4.81.
Thanks

14pwatters, Naviance gives you a scattergram of kids from your school who applied to those colleges. It only will give you that information, however, if it has data for enough kids that it wouldn’t be easy to figure out whose scores and grades are listed (I think the number is 20, but I could be wrong). Anyway, the reason you don’t see Princeton or Harvard is that your school just doesn’t have enough data points.

Those schools indeed have very high GPAs in their acceptances, and the acceptances undoubtedly include much more than just GPA and scores, simply because they can be as picky as they want.
