Accepting then Declining SIRs?

Hello, I have already accepted a SIR to a UC campus but may have to make changes do to family and financial issues (again). Would it be alright to decline a SIR then accept a new one at nother UC? I just want to get this done as early as possible so my spot goes to someone else.

Thank you in advance.

What worried me is this, so I want to decline the SIR as soon as possible so I can accept the other one.

Email the UC campus which you submitted your SIR to and ask them to withdrawal it and they will do so, then accept the SIR to the other campus.

Thank you for the reply =)

I can submit the decline on UCI, but I was just wondering if there is other stuff I must do. I was set on going to UCI, but then family responsibility came up so yeah …

I already finished the housing app and such, should I also contact financial aid and housing to tell them that I can no longer attend?

Definitely contact them!

Glad to help, and good luck to you next year!
