<p>i just read on the uchicago 2014 that the percentage of waitlistees getting off of the list was 0%. is this true?!</p>
<p>^ wth i know the numbers are pretty grim but come on dude 0% would just suck. Still, false hope is better than no hope - gives me a goal and dream to motivate myself at least in the short run</p>
<p>Dontstopbelievin, we will not know how many students we can admit off of the waitlist until sometime after the May 1st reply deadline for admitted students. We do not have any projected number or percentage of students we think we will be able to admit based off of previous years, as this year’s significant increase in applicants makes this a new process for all of us. Hang in there!</p>
