I was trying to locate posts on the old forum by a particular former CC poster, but I find that I no longer know how to do that.
In fact I have trouble even finding the old forum, much less searching it.
IIRC there used to be something like a “classic Forum Archive” link someplace on one of this site’s webpage, but I can no longer find it.
So my two questions are:
- How do I access the old forum now?
- How do I search the old forum now for posts by a particular poster? (So that the search will be of the old forum, and will not wind up just searching the new forum)
Ooh man you are right! No access at the bottom to the classic version of cc! And the site map is … odd. HOw will we find the urban mound builders thread??
I thought I remembered reading here that the classic version of CC was discontinued some time ago. Don’t remember who said it or what the context was but I know I read it here. Wish we could get it back!

My posts from over 10 years ago are still found by Search. Is before that the issue here?
No, that’s not the issue. There used to be a link to the old forum itself (www.collegeconfidential.com/discus/) that doesn’t work anymore. All the threads were merged over here and the old web page is gone.
