<p>I just bought a 13" macbook pro. I am trying to decide where to buy my accidental damage insurance/warranty. I have looked at squaretrade.com and safeware.com. Safeware is more expensive and covers theft/loss but it doesn't cover mechanical issues so i would have to buy applecare or something else with it. Anybody recommend/not recommend one of these or have any other suggestions?</p>
<p>I personally just got AppleCare, my laptop fell and had a huge dent. I went, told them honestly “the laptop fell” and they fixed it for free. A lot of my friends seem to be getting their Apple products fixed for free as long as they don’t come up with some weird story. Granted this may only happen once. I suggest just get the AppleCare and try to be careful with your computer.</p>
<p>BUT Apple is very friendly, well at the store at least. :)</p>
