So I was filling out the FAFSA application and then i came across the section that asked for my parent's PIN number. Since my brother went first to college 3 years ago my dad had already created the PIN, i was ready to use it. However, they forgot the PIN number and of course went to the Financial Student Aid PIN website to retrieve it. No matter how many times I typed his Social Security number, and made sure was right each time, it always said that no pin was found with that information. My dad is not very good with computers so things like this i always do it for him. So now i decide to create another pin account for him and it worked. I put in correctly his name, ssn, and then i realized i had typed the wrong birthday. His birthday is on 12/23 and i put 12/24. I had already submitted it and now i got a new PIN. Upon seeing my mistake i now typed the correct birthday and the original PIN was now found. In the FAFSA application i put the same PIN that my brother used in his time but now i left my dad with two pins. Stupid careless mistake, i know. What should i do? Should i contact their customer service? Can i get in trouble for this?

Hey I was wondering did you end up contacting FASFA?
