Accidentally put down a class as honors when it wasn’t college level

I took honors English 9 so I put it as an HL on my application. After submitting it I found out it actually doesn’t count as a college honors and I mistakenly inputted it in my college app.

Should I email the schools I applied for or is it unnecessary since it’s freshman year?

Unnecessary since the class will not be used for your GPA calculation. As long as you passed the class, you are fine.
