Accidentally ripped a page from AP chemistry free reponse

So, when I tore the green insert from the pink AP booklet for the AP Chemistry exam today, I accidentally tore a page with a set of chemical equations that I had to answer with it. I wrote my answer on the torn page and left it in the answer book where it was originally, because I had to write my answer there. I told my proctor after the exam that I accidentally tore that page by accident; he said that the AP exams are sealed up completely, so the exam should get to the facility with no problem. should I worry about it? Will the AP exam responses be scanned through a computer or will people be reading it from the written test booklet itself? I don't want College Board to accidentally not score that section or find anything suspicious with my exam.

If you tore the green insert there is no problem BUT if you tore the pink booklet there may be some problem for the reader. The green insert will be returned to you later.

Yes, I accidentally tore a page with two of the question #4 chemical equations that I had to complete with the green insert. I did the work on that page and re-inserted it back in the original spot from where I accidentally tore it. It shouldn’t be a problem if they don’t light scan the book, right?

LOL this happened to me during the Physics exam…my whole answer booklet fell apart -_-
i didnt make a big deal out of it…i just put the pages back in order, told the proctor to staple it and then went on with my life.

did you ask the proctor to tape the pages back together or something like that?

No, the proctor told me that the AP exams will be sealed up when it gets to the facility where it’ll be graded, so I shouldn’t have to worry about losing that ripped page.

MegamanZX0964835, wahkimoocow and others,

Is this not common that a portion might get ripped accidentally from the outer covers?

In the FRQ pink booklet, even if a portion gets ripped accidentally (by ripped, I mean , detached from the stapled booklet, aren’t the FRQ sections sealed completely before sending? Is there any risk that the detached portion might go missing?

Also is there a serial number on EACH page just in case that ensures the materials are linked to the student?

^Dude, stop worrying.

<<<lol this=“” happened=“” to=“” me=“” during=“” the=“” physics=“” exam…my=“” whole=“” answer=“” booklet=“” fell=“” apart=“” -_-=“” i=“” didnt=“” make=“” a=“” big=“” deal=“” out=“” of=“” it=“”>>></lol>

This happened to my friends kid. If the FRQ answer booklet (calc AB) is ripped and is just loosely kept inside the outer cover with the identification details, what are the possible risks? Obviously my friend is very worried about the outcome. What if the answer sheet that lies loosely inside falls off as there is no barcode within the inside answer sheets.

anyone else with similar experiences?

<<<<< MegamanZX0964835 No, the proctor told me that the AP exams will be sealed up when it gets to the facility where it’ll be graded, so I shouldn’t have to worry about losing that ripped page. >>>>

Do you mean each of the FRQ booklet will again be sealed individually before sending?

bump - anyone with similar experience?

well, this happened to me last year and i worried about it for about two days after the exam. but there was nothing to worry about lol. hey scored everything without a problem…i think oO
wait a minnute…my physics score was ridiculous low oO
