Math II - 740
Biology E - 660
Chemistry - 600
I freaked out when I saw these were sent with my SAT I score (which I had intended to send alone). I panicked and emailed the college admissions offices asking them to withdraw the scores from my file. I now realize how absolutely stupid this was but I cannot reverse it. I know what has been done has been done, but I just want to know how badly this will effect my app. I have several other credentials to overpower these scores but I am still very worried based on the level of difficulty for my list of colleges.
They will see them, but they almost definitely won’t withdraw the scores from your file. As you said what’s done is done. I’m not sure how badly this will affect you- what type of schools are you applying to? Ivy?
@yonceonhismouth I am applying to JHU (Molecular Bio & Film Program), Tufts (Bio), UVA (Bio), and Cornell (Plant Sciences). I realize Tufts is definitely out of the question, but could i still get into JHU film and the others? I send UVA app for EA in November
Those schools are all very selective. While SAT IIs are only one part of the application, and I’m sure there are stories of students getting in with low scores, in general it will not help you (Especially if it is required like at Tufts or Cornell for STEM I believe)
Of course, it may not prevent your admission- I was admitted to GTown with a 690 on Math II, 680 on Math I, 690 on Lit and a 640 on Spanish
@yonceonhismouth Thank you for the info. I guess I’m more stressed about my email than what the scores say about me. I’ll just have to wait and hope for the best.
The College Board site is so inept, it is very easy to accidentally send scores, they really should clean it up.
