accidentally sent SAT scores to college I don't want to apply to?

I've accidentally sent my College Board SAT score reports to a college I don't want to apply to anymore. What should I do about this? Should I just let them be and not send in the rest of my application?

yes

another question: What if I want to apply to this same college next year instead (for the class of 2015)? Will they keep the SAT score reports on file until next fall/winter 2010, and I can send in the rest of my application in then?

Some colleges keep SAT reports on file for a certain period of time, some don’t. Email the college admissions office and ask.

My daughter took the ACT early in her junior year and had the scores sent to some colleges (via the free score reports) she was vaguely considering. A year later she applied to two of those schools, and both confirmed that her scores were still on file and she did not need to resend them. As cgarcia suggests, next Fall be sure to call or send an email to confirm that the scores are still on file with each school.

As for the scores you sent to schools to which you do not plan to apply - it is no problem, and you don’t need to do anything about it.

Thank you so much! That helps a lot. I’ll make sure to call next Fall and ask.
