well i signed up for this class last fall and thought i was enrolled in the regular section, but i was actually enrolled in the honors section, yeah stupid me i should of doubled checked since the course numbers was very close. So i ended up not knowing the whole semester and did not do the work for the honors course and got a bad grade, i'm going to talk to the school about it and i'm planning to transfer to a four year school in the fall. Has anyone ever had this experience, and if so what did they do?

anyone?????

I got a bad grade in a class before too and after the final I got a C...

Then I realized that on my report card, outside the teacher's room, on the teacher's syllabus, on all the work we did that it was an honors course!

So I told my teacher that I did not know. She was very nice and said it was okay and that she would change my grade to an A since it was her fault that I did not know it was an honors course.

lucky......see at my cc school, they combined the honors and regular class together and the honors does the work that the regular class does plus more, sounds like your school does the same. I'm in the process of talking to my professor right now and we'll see what happens, i have asked if they can give me the grade for the work i did in the regular class, not sure if they can do that though, but the grade is really important

celsius your teacher is extremely nice.

yeah i'm just kind of freaking out right now, i'm waiting to hear back from the professor and i'm going to go to the school tomorrow and talk to the counselor or something. Hopefully something can be done

Good luck, hope everything turns out well.
