<p>For what? I know that when my son auditioned at UNCSA for trumpet, he did not need an accompanist.</p>

<p>My daughter is preparing for a vocal audition at UNCSA at the end of January. Vocalists are required to have an accompanist. If one doesn’t come with you, they will provide one (for $20 or $25). For instrumentalists, I can’t tell you. That varies from school to school.
