Hi, alot of people are saying Accounting Classes are hard. Is that because they are juggling many things or are they fully committed to school. I am a Freshmen Accountant Major with no obligations, besides interning here and there. Will i have the same difficulty if i put my best effort in?
Take the class and see how you do. A course that might be difficult for some could be easy for others. It depends on your own set of talent/abilities. Certainly keeping up with the homework is impt. in accounting so having enough time to do that will be a plus.
Accounting is reliant on you consistently doing all the practice problems located at the end of each chapter, and a solid memorization of the rules that apply to all the different transactions.
It is not so much the individual tasks that are so difficult, it is the breadth of knowledge that can be a bit daunting. Consistent work should gain you a solid (3.5+) GPA.
