Hey guys, right now I'm deciding between TCNJ and Rutgers NB, I was at a college fair and the TCNJ rep told me that if i wanted my bachelors in accounting i needed to take 150 credits to qualify to get my CPA, and it was very difficult to get approved to double major in both accounting and finance. Is there any truth to this can i take the normal amount of credits in accounting and then take a finance double major. Also how is the recruiting in the big 4 at TCNJ vs Rutgers? Thank you!

TCNJ is known for its accounting, which is the best in the country. Also the CPA pass rate is much higher for TCNJ then Rutgers! As well as the 4 year graduation rate is ~80% for TCNJ and ~50% for Rutgers.

Thanks, but where does it say TCNJ has the best accounting in the country?

*“one” of the best in the country! (sorry missed that word, though it was common-sense.)

I’m not going to lie, I thought you were just making that up but after doing some research the accounting program is ranked 46th in the country and ahead of some schools like Penn State, and Georgetown just to name two, Thank you!
