I'm starting a 1 yr masters in accounting program this fall in Dallas. I worked for about a yr and a half in insurance til May 08. I finished my undergrad in 2005. I've been told an internship isn't absolutely necessary and I'd rather not do one. Once I finish in May 2010, I want to take the Becker course and take my time to do the exams through the rest of the year and work part time in between.

I wanted to know if the Big 4 firms would hire me at graduation (all else being equal, economy, grades, interviewing, etc) with a start date beginning in 2011. Would it be possible to do an internship before I start full time. Also, if I pass the exams, would the firm reimburse me for the review course and/or give the bonus if I haven't started with the firm yet?

Thanks in advance. Any other advice on how this all works will help too.
