I graduated with my Bachelor's in Management in 2006 and will be returning to school this summer to complete a Bachelor's in Accounting, which is what I should have done in the first place...but we learn from our mistakes, right :)

Even though I am not taking classes at the moment, I have been accepted to the Accounting Program and I am hoping to attend some recruiting events before I start classes this summer in order to line up some possible internships for Summer and/or Fall semester of this year. I have only taken Acct 2101 and 2102 and received a B in both classes. I will be taking the first 3 upper level courses this summer. My overall GPA is a 3.72 right now before any of the upper level accounting classes. Do you think that is possible to get an internship with one of the Big 4 or even a large regional firm for this Summer and/or Fall semester considering my current situation? I live in Atlanta and don't really have any previous Accounting experience. I have been wasting my time with general administrative type jobs.

Also, what are the prospects for full-time offers? I only have 8 classes to take so I should be finished by August 2010.

BTW, I am an African American female if it matters any, as I know there are some programs that help minorities obtain internships.

Any advice or information you have would be greatly appreciated.
