I transferred schools and got the short end of the stick. My first accounting course is intermediate accounting. I'm getting the material but some of the most simple concepts are difficult for me to catch at first. I didnt get to take financial or managment before this, am I in trouble or should i see an advisor.

I can’t believe you are in Intermediate without having taken both Intro Financial and Intro Managerial first. Many schools insist on a minimum grade of B in both classes to even be allowed to register for Intermediate! You should definitely see an advisor and discuss your options. Intermediate gets progressively harder as the semester goes on. FYI - I’m a CPA father whose son is a senior accounting major.

It’s tough but not impossible. Some simple programs caught me up to the point where I feel comfortable with the material at this point. Haha. Famous last words.
