accounting vs. statistics

hi! studying accounting, hope to get double major, choose satistics or computer science?
It is said statistics has better job opptunity than accounting ?

Just curious, what can one do with a statistics degree?

You can do anything with a degree in statistics except surgeon, and maybe a few other things not directly related to math.

Statistics Fields of study (Temple University):
biostatistics, statistical inference theory and applications of experimental designs, survey sampling, linear models, sequential analysis, exploratory data analysis, regression analysis, nonparametric analysis, multivariate analysis, time series, stochastic processes, clinical trials, statistical computing, graphics, history of statistics, categorical data analysis, approximation theory, spline smoothing, health systems evaluation, pharmaceutical statistics, and operations research.

Statistics is used by everyone for everything to make predictions on how variable effect outcomes. They are invaluable.

Look into Actuarial Science too. Actuaries are highly educated business executives who specialize in the evaluation of insurance and financial risks. They hold positions of responsibility with insurance companies, consulting firms, investment banks, self-insurers, government regulators, and government insurance programs. Because of their valuable talents and expertise, actuaries are generally well compensated, and often rise to the highest levels

Actuaries are statisticians on steroids.
