Accounting with International Relations?

<p>I originally wanted to do IR but the job market looks slim after college. I was thinking of majoring in accounting but still taking some other courses in IR. Would it help me later on? Im planning to get my Masters (if needed) in any degree I would take but im not sure of the possibilities. Would concentration in IR put me out among the rest?</p>

<p>Your question is “would an IR degree help me in my accounting career”? If so…of course not. People want strong accountants with the CPA. They couldn’t care less about your international relations major</p>
