Accuracy of The College Board's "Net Price Calculator"

In October 2010 the College Board launched their new "Net Price Calculator" for about 20 schools including Dartmouth, Duke, Rice, Amherst, Tufts, among others.

The Net Price Calculator is customized for each college using the service, a range of options can be added to further engage prospective students. For example, colleges can offer students more information about programs, explain how to apply for admission or schedule a campus tour.

I'm curious about whether anyone that applied to schools that use this service this year have used this calculator and can comment on how accurate it was. If you (or son/daughter) were accepted into one of the participating colleges, I'd love to hear some comments on how close your actual aid award was to what was estimated on this calculator.

My son attends Wake Forest and I have played around with this calculator to see how closely it predicted the actual award we rcvd for this year - and it was quite accurate. A touch higher than the actual award - but not by much.
