<p>I just got my PLAN results back today, and I'm fairly happy with them. I was just wondering how accurate the estimated ACT composite score ratings were. Has anyone had accurate estimates or estimates that ended up being higher/lower than what was predicted for you?</p>
<p>From what I can tell the estimates are generally in the ballpark though I think my brothers and I all scored a couple points higher than it predicted. It worked that way for one of my friends too, but for most of them their ACT scores were in the range it predicted.</p>
<p>It depends alot on how soon you take the ACT afterwards and how much studying you do for each. I should find out my ACT scores later tonight, but I know for certain they will be alot higher than the estimated 24-26 the PLAN test told me last year. I didn’t study for the PLAN, nor did I even know I was taking it untill the day before. Then I fell asleep during the math section and only got half the questions done… The ACT was much better to me.</p>
<p>I think generally it’s pretty accurate, from my friends experiences. However, it underestimated fairly significantly for me. If you didn’t prep at all for the PLAN, but do a lot of studying for the ACT, you should be able to score above your estimated range.</p>
<p>I didn’t study for either the PLAN or the ACT. I got a 29 on the PLAN, with a projected 30-33 on the ACT. The first time I took the ACT, I got a 32, and the second time, a 33!</p>
<p>Almost fell asleep during the PLAN and got a 27, with a projected 28-32. On the ACT (1st time), I got a 33.</p>

I was predicted to get a 27-31 and I got a 25 and took the act twice</p>
<p>I got a 27 on the PLAN (projected score: 28-32) and a 35 on the ACT, although I didn’t even know about the PLAN until my teacher said we were going to have homeroom in order to take a test.</p>
<p>S took PLAN as a freshman - it predicted an ACT of 32-35. He took the ACT as a sophomore and scored 32, then again as a junior and scored 35. He did take one practice test before each of the ACTs, but no other prep. I’d say pretty accurate!</p>
