Achat, in case you are here

Hi Achat,

I read your post on the parent's forum, and I understand and empathize with your weariness of the CC message. Still, I have appreciated what you have added to the mix, and especially have enjoyed our "conversations" on the Swat website. So, if you do take a break, or go on to other things, you should know you have been a special part of this CC experience for me, and I will miss having around! P.S. Once I get all the kiddies in college, I shall stop this too!

Hi,
Thanks a lot. I will be looking since this has become a habit. I was just a little weary of the same discussions...
I will be tempted to look in April when kids get their fat letters, so don't worry..
Thanks again.

Achat,
I, too, really appreciate what you have to say, especially about Swarthmore. My daughter is a junior in high school and has found a lot of your comments helpful as well. I can certainly understand your tiring of a lot of the discussions elsewhere that seem to end up with the same opinions being expressed ad nauseum, but perhaps you could check in from time to time at least on the Swarthmore board. And maybe ask you son to do so, too, when he has time.

Yes, achat! Thanks so much for being around. You gave amazing help for my essays.

Achat -

You have been far and way the most important poster to me. From reviewing my essays to critiquing my essays, I could always count on you - even throughout the witch hunts :)

As you may have noticed, I don't really post here anymore so I can empathize. It just isn't a very loving place!

Achat,
I, too, have enjoyed your perspectives. Your S at Swat and my D at Haverford. I see how the discussions can br repetitive and a bit mundane. I have 2 more at home, so the boards still hold an attraction for me. Please check in time to time. Best to you!
